Description
We are looking for a motivated Master’s student to join the AI4Gov-X project as a Student Assistant. The role supports activities at the intersection of AI, digital governance, education, and communication.
AI4Gov-X is a European, EU-funded initiative that develops innovative education and training programmes on Artificial Intelligence, data, and digital transformation for the public sector. The project brings together an international consortium of universities, research institutions, and public sector partners.
What you would work on:
The role combines communication, organisation, and content-related tasks, oGering a varied and hands-on work experience.
Communication & organisation
You may support us with:
- implementing the AI4Gov-X communication plan, especially for promoting the Master programme and educational oGer;
- creating and disseminating content, such as website updates, newsletters, social media posts, and outreach materials;
- coordinating with TU Delft communication support and international project partners; - supporting the organisation and promotion of the Consortium Meeting in September 2026 and related events with public-sector professionals;
- translating communication ideas into concrete actions, timelines, and materials. Educational design activities:
Depending on your interests and availability, you may also contribute to:
- the development of a MOOC and professional education within the AI4GovX; - supporting the preparation of educational content and learning materials; - research on digital education, micro-credentials, and innovative learning formats.
What you can expect:
You would work with Roel Dobbe and Antonia Sattlegger from ICT/TPM. We work flexibly and aim to make arrangements that fit everyone involved. In this role, you can expect:
- hands-on experience in a large-scale European research and education project; - practical experience with strategic communication, outreach, and project coordination; - insight into the development of innovative learning formats;
- opportunities to build a national and international network across academia, policy, and practice;
- exposure to current topics in AI, digital governance, and public-sector innovation; - flexible working conditions and integration into an academic research environment.
While the project has fixed deliverables and timelines, we are happy to involve you in tasks that match your interests and support your professional development where possible. AI4Gov-X and related projects may also oGer further opportunities in the future. We therefore particularly welcome students who are interested in developing a longer-term profile in AI, digital governance, public
sector innovation, education, or communication.
Practical details
- Start: as soon as possible, flexible
- Duration: minimum 6 months
- Workload: approximately 8 hours per week
- Working hours: flexible, compatible with your studies
- Location: flexible / hybrid, in the TU Delft and AI4Gov-X context
