Student Assistant (Qualitative Analysis) (ASAP)
We are looking for a motivated research assistant to support a workshop-related research project through qualitative data analysis. The assistant will work closely with the research team to help organize, analyze, and interpret qualitative data collected during and after the workshop. We expect a total workload of about 80 hours.

If the selected candidate is interested, there may be an opportunity to pursue a Master’s thesis on this topic at TPM. This would be arranged separately from the student assistant position.
Key Responsibilities
• Transcribe, clean, and organize workshop data (for example, notes, recordings, and participant responses)
• Conduct qualitative data analysis, including coding and thematic analysis • Identify key themes, insights, and patterns in the data
• Support the preparation of clear and structured summaries of findings • Assist with writing up results and coordinating contributions among co-authors • Collaborate with the research team and contribute to discussions throughout the project
• Manage and organize mailing lists and communications
Requirements
• Currently enrolled as a student
• Interest in the AI Act and related technical discussions
• Experience with qualitative research methods
• Experience with and strong understanding of thematic analysis
• Analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience with tools such as NVivo, Atlas.ti, or similar software is an advantage
Duration & Commitment
• Short-term position linked to the workshop timeline
• The estimated workload is about 80 hours in total
• Flexible working hours, to be agreed upon
• Start date: as soon as possible
