Are you passionate about web design, content creation & revision, and digital communication? We're looking for a creative and tech-savvy Bachelor student to join our Web Support Team!
As our Web Support Assistant, you'll play a role in developing and maintaining our digital presence on the Teaching Support website under the supervision and guidance of Web Support officers. You'll help create and revise web content, design visual materials, and help build user-friendly resources that empower lecturers to enhance their teaching practice. Your work will directly impact how hundreds of educators at TU Delft access support and discover new educational features in different tools, such as Brightspace 2.0.
Examples of tasks:
- Design and develop web pages for educational support resources and training materials based on input from experts
- Create and revising engaging written content for websites, including guides, tutorials, and FAQ sections
- Develop visual content such as infographics, icons, and graphics for web use
- Collaborate with Web Support Officers to translate technical information into user-friendly web content
- Maintain and update existing web resources
- Testing new features in our existing tools and writing proposal texts about the updates
We are looking for:
- Bachelor students with a minimum of 45 ECTS obtained
- Strong interest in web development, content creation, and digital design
- Creative mindset with attention to visual design and user experience
- Good writing skills for web content creation
- Experience with writing educational materials
- Self-motivated and able to work independently on creative projects
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch, both written and verbal
- Availability of 8 hours per week
Additional qualities that make you stand out:
- Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, etc.)
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
- Experience with educational technology or e-learning platforms
- Understanding of web accessibility standards
- Background in educational support or training content development
- Experience with a CMS, e.g. WordPress, Typo3, etc.
The important details:
You will be appointed as Support Assistant at the department of Teaching & Learning Services. You will be employed through FlexDelft. FlexDelft works in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) for universities. This means your pay will depend on what the CAO for universities states.
