We are looking for an ambitious student who is pursuing a master’s degree or is in the final phase of the bachelor who wants to support in accelerating the energy transition for fleet-based operations. This position is a great opportunity to get a look behind the scenes of a large energy company, to make an impact in the energy transition, to have a meaningful side job besides your studies and to orientate yourself on future job options.
What’s the role
In this role your main responsibility will be to support a Shell team in performing energy system analysis for our fleet-based customers. Your activities will vary from making customer data presentable and insightful to designing a full charging solution and strategy for their decarbonisation pathways. Next to that you will also support in techno-economic studies for new technologies such as battery-swapping, megawatt charging and wireless charging. You will become part of a team of working-students with whom you will share the workload.

What we need from you
We are looking for candidates that can work independently and love a challenge. You have a background in optimization, data modelling or engineering and an affinity with the energy sector and/or eMobility. You will be successful in this role if you can quickly absorb information, are detail oriented, able to analyse problems in a structured way, come up with original ideas and are able to reason from a system perspective.
