This is the role

The Innovation and Low Carbon Technologies team is a cross-functional and dynamic team, focusing on identification, origination and execution of technical programs to support the decarbonization ambitions of LyondellBasell. 
The company’s roadmap to carbon neutrality considers several workstreams, including CCS (Carbon Capture & Storage) , CU ( Carbon Utilization) ,  New Direct Routes to Chemicals, Biotechnology, Electrification, Hydrogen and Alternative Feedstocks.
 As an intern you are an integral part of one or more of the project teams with far reaching exposure and ample opportunity to contribute and gain experience.

What will you do?

  • Perform market, industry and company specific analyses

  • Develop technology landscapes

  • Analyze early stage companies and venture capital deal flow 

  • Interface with research consultants and conduct techno-economical analyses

  • Develop project feasibility assessments  

 The location for the internship will be Rotterdam company’s offices.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in English

  • A committed, self-starting and flexible team player

This is what you bring

  • A 1st or 2nd year Master studying at faculty Technology, Policy and Management (Techniek, Bestuur en Management) of the Technische Universiteit Delft 

  • Interest towards innovation and technology 

  • Interest towards venture capital and early stage companies  

  • Distinctive academic results as well as extra-curricular activities

  • Available for a period of at least 3 months

  • You are a EU citizen
